Artists from 10 different nationalities are coming to Lima to showcase their traditional dances. Which countries are participating?

The fifth edition of the International Festival “Mi Perú 2017' started on March 8 and will continue until March 12. The event is organized by Lima Town Hall and the Municipal Theater, both entities have brought together ten dance casts from Argentina, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Panama, Peru and Poland.

Parades, art galleries and performances are some of the free activities that this international gathering. Visitors can interact with the performers at the Plazuela de las Artes located in (Jr. Ica 377) from to 8 p.m during the 5-day event.

On March 11, Mi Peru 2017 comes alive at the San Martin square. Beginning at 3 p.m., dancers will continue to enchant the public as they move to Jirí³n de la Union and then head to the Lima’s main Square; performances will eventually culminate at the Municipal Theater.

The central event starts on March 11-12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Theater.
