Calling all book lovers! Bookstores to offer low prices starting at S/. 5 and many other discounts. Have a look to find out where and when.

The Municipal Library of Miraflores encourages its citizens to read and enjoy the literary world, therefore, it has created a one-day event called “Noche de Librerias”(the bookstores’ night).

Besides, promoting and encouraging the habit of reading, it also supports the commercial development of bookstores in Peru and looks to increase exposure of the industry. The event will gather around 25 bookstores in Miraflores, which will be offering special discounts, promotions, and activities that encourage reading.

Noche de Librerias will be held on April 22, from 11:00 a.m to 12.00 p.m in Miraflores at the following addresses. Readers will be able to find books starting at S/. 5, and discounts will be given up to 55%.

The 25 bookstores will present workshops on literature, storytelling activities, theater plays and live musical performances. Each bookstore will introduce special events on their agenda, for example, Contracultura features a special offer, the bookstore will give a book to the first 50 children that go with their parents.

The event joins celebrations with the World Book and Copyright Day which is on April 23.
